 Alan Evans became violently ill after tucking into a £1.99 bacon and egg McMuffin for his breakfast at his local fast-food restaurant.A disgusted dad was forced to call an ambulance when he collapsed with food poisoning after he ate a McDonald’s McMuffin which was so mouldy it had turned GREEN.
 The 32-year-old dad took a few bites but when he decided to add some barbecue sauce he noticed the egg in his sandwich was a mouldy green colour.His partner Amanda Seaford,28,finally called an ambulance because he was so ill.Doctors diagnosed him with food poisoning and gave him antibiotics, anti-sickness tablets and an anti-fungal medicine.The dad-of-four immediately stopped eating but began to be sick within a few hours and was laid up in bed for the next FIVE days after he collapsed.Alan, from Bulwell, Notts., said : “I just couldn’t stop being sick or going to the toilet.


“I’ve got really bad pains in my stomach. Now even looking at McDonald’s on television just makes me feel sick. I should never have contemplated eating a green egg.“I just can’t believe I ate it and all they offered was a free meal, they didn’t even offer money back.”A spokesman for McDonald’s said they would investigate his complaint.He said:”The eggs used in our McMuffins are made with real, free-range eggs that are freshly cracked in the restaurant every day by our crew.”
