Photo as bus driver removes clothes in protest against police impoundment in port-harcourt

 The incident which lasted for about 30 minutes, on Monday, caused heavy traffic congestion as people filed out of their offices and shops to laugh over the drama that was playing out between the officer and the bus driver at the middle of the road.

The bus driver around Mile 1 axis of Ikwere road in Port Hacourt today striped himself nak.ed in protest against a traffic police officer who jumped into his bus to impound his bus for allegedly disobeying a traffic rule.




Although, it was strange on how a bus driver who ought to be sane enough would jump out of his steering and removes everything he wore before his onlookers, but the bus driver who refused to disclose his name to newsmen said he decided to go naked to shock the officer and attract sympathy from the gathered crowd.

The driver’s target was truly met because the crowd empathized with him and pleaded with the police officer to come down from the bus which he has already taken over.

Soon the police officer who as shocked by the strange act came down from the bus but said, “Most drivers in this state are just mad, you get luck say people done beg me.” This aroused a wide laughter from the crowd.

The police officer refused give details of the offence committed by the drive, but, maintained that the driver was lucky.

The driver when asked what his offence was said he did not do anything wrong, adding that the police officer wanted to undo him.
