Its very important for any prospective corps member  to ensure they have valid and functional email addresses and phone number before registration if you do not have an email address go to a business center and create on and learn how to use it. The era where a corps member does not know how to access the internet is becoming obsolete so ensure you learn it now. <br />

<b>How to register: </b><br />
You do it on your own or visit a good cybercafe and login to www.nysc.org.ng for online registration and biometric data capture.You should upload a Passport photograph with the following specifications:<br />
<br />
i) PleaseEnsure your face (eyes, nose, ears, mouth and jaw) is fully shown without bending.<br />
ii) Also Ensure the picture is centralized and fills the frame.<br />
iii) And ensure the Photo background is white or off-white with no shadow.<br />

Payment of the N3000 for call-up letter is not compulsory but  corps members who want their call-up numbers sent to them through SMS and wish to PRINT their call-up letters on-line are expected to pay the sum of Three Thousand Naira (N3,000.00) via the Portal http://portal.nysc.org.ng/ . <br />
<br />
Prospective Corps members who do not want to pay the N3,000.00 have the option of going to their schools to collect their call-up numbers and call-up letters.<br />
<br />
NYSC Registration deadline for 2015 batch B corps members will close on Friday 9th October, 2015. Its advised that Prospective corps members who have problems related to mobilization should go to the nearest NYSC Secretariats, see the Deployment and Relocation officer and lodge their complaints between 9th – 16th October, 2015.<br />

The Jamb 2016/2017  registration period would span from Aug. 31 to Jan.
 15, 2016. According to the statement, the  registration website will 
close on Jan. 19, 2016. It  noted that the UTME had been slated to 
commence on Feb.29 and end on March 14, 2016.</div>

 ”The registration fee for the UTME is N5,000 and candidates are also 
to pay  N500 to obtain the textbook, The Last Days at Forcados High 
School’. ”Candidates will, however, be issued the book at the point of 
registration after showing evidence of payment,” the statement said.<br />

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) 
says arrangement has been concluded for the sale of its 2016 application
 documents. This is contained in a statement by the board’s Head of 
Information, Dr Fabian Benjamin and made available to newsmen on Monday 
in Lagos.</div>
According to the statement, the sales is to prepare candidates early 
for the 2016 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). It said 
that candidates were urged to purchase the examination scratch cards 
from Zenith Bank,  Sky Bank and First Bank .<br />

The statement said the board had advised all prospective candidates 
to ensure they obtained the application forms  early as well as  fill 
their personal data correctly to avoid any mixup.
