Telly chef Jamie Oliver’s £7m home has been raided by burglars who stole thousands of pounds worth of property.Electrical
 gear, jewellery and other personal items were taken in the raid on the 
star’s luxury four-storey house, which was only discovered when a 
neighbour spotted the front door open.Thieves smashed their way into the 40-year-old’s home in  Primrose Hill, North London, after breaking in through a garage.The
 chef wife Jules and their four kids were believed to be staying at 
their Essex country mansion when the burglary took place.It is feared that the raiders may have known the family were away from the house at the time of the burglary.Police are frantically investigating CCTV footage in a bid to find those responsible for the break-in.Jamie,
 worth £240million, is thought to be planning to sell the house after 
snapping up a new £10million eight-bed home in nearby Hampstead in July.A spokesman for the Met Police confirmed that the home had been “ransacked”.Jamie

American Fears from California's Chapman University, which examines 
fears themselves, the potential causes and their consequences.Americans fear gun control more than war, pandemic and nuclear attack, but nothing is scarier than government corruption.Around 1,500 volunteers were given a list of 88 common fears and asked to indicate whether they found them scary.Fifty-eight per cent of respondents said they were either 'afraid' or
 'very afraid' of corruption of government officials, compared to 44.8

 Scientist have found a way to brainwash people by changing their 
attitudes towards God and immigrants.The bizarre experiment weakened 
both belief in God and aversion to immigrants by around a third.They 
were able to radically alter religious perceptions and prejudices by 
beaming magnetic energy into the brain.Researchers safely shut down 
certain groups of neurons in the brains of volunteers.They
 targeted a region known as the posterior medial frontal cortex a few 
inches up from the forehead - that is associated with detecting and 
responding to problems.They then asked the 30 participants – all of whom
 held religious 
convictions to rate their belief in God, angels, heaven, the devil and

religion for comfort in the face of death.The

newly arrived immigrants. One was highly complementary to the US and the

less negative, less ideologically motivated reaction to the critical

and left them 28.5% more positive about immigrants.It

While bundling everyone in to the same space is 
normal for them, a post on   their website Wandering the World Below has
 gotten the internet talking.Elizabeth who claims 
to wear the same pair of sandals every day of the year   - revealed that
 after sharing a picture of their bedtime set-up she had been

other rooms that were completely empty at night and we no longer had 
small   children wandering, crying into our bed in the dark." When we moved 
everyone together, the toddler got a dark little cave to   sleep in. Our
 anxious, insomniac 11 yr old had a dark little cave to sleep   in. Our 
wild sleepers each had their own space and I was still by Tom to   help 
him if he needed it.Getting everyone used to the scenario wasn't
 too much of a struggle, as the   family regularly go on road trips in a
 camper van and share single hotel   rooms when on the road.Elizabeth
 added that her home's now empty two bedrooms are used for storing

A total of 254 foreigners were apprehended between Aug. 20 and Sept. 
18 on suspicion of teaching foreign languages in private or through 
educational institutions without necessary qualifications, the ministry 
said.Hundreds of foreigners have been caught giving unauthorized private language lessons, the Justice Ministry said Wednesday.Some of them satisfied the eligibility rule but had 
recruited students in illegal ways, such as via the Internet without

prosecutors' office."Illegal Chinese tutoring cases have soared dramatically with the 
increased demand in the language," a ministry official said.Under South Korean law, any foreigners

Zimbabwe’s President Robert Mugabe has rejected calls from the United Nations (UN ) to implement gay rights in his country.<br />

Speaking on September 28, at the 70th United Nations General Assembly
 (UNGA) meeting, Mugabe said that upholding human rights is the 
obligation of all member states, but vehemently rejected the imposition 
of what he called “new rights” for gay marriage that have been advocated
 elsewhere in the world.<br />
The 91-year-old Zimbabwean strongman said: “We equally reject 
attempts to prescribe new rights that are contrary to our norms, values,
 traditions and beliefs. We are not gays. Cooperation and respect for 
each other will advance the cause of human rights worldwide. 
Confrontation, vilification and double standards will not,” he told 
members of the General Assembly.<br />

Mugabe has previously called homosexuals “worse than pigs and dogs.”<br />

A spokesman for his ruling party, Zanu-PF, has said same-sex marriage had no place in Africa.<br />

Currently chairman of the African Union, Mugabe urged nations to 
invest in economic development on the African continent, saying a 
stronger Africa would be beneficial to the world.<br />

“Africa is not looking for handouts. Rather it is looking for 
partners in massive infrastructure development. In creating and 
exploiting the value chains from the God given natural resources and in 
improving the quality of life of the continent’s citizens. The entire 
world stands to benefit from an economically empowered African continent
 than from one emasculated by deprivation and with an over dependence on
 others,” Mugabe said.<br />

Mugabe also called for UN reform and has long criticized that there

anniversary to address this burning issue of the reform of the United 
Nations Security Council in a manner that satisfies the just demands and
 expectations among us. I wish to reiterate our strong attachment to 
Africa’s common position of the reform of the Security Council,” he

A spokesperson for Squaw Valley Ski Resort confirms Roner 
was performing a jump with a group of skydivers as part of the opening 
act for a golf tournament Monday when something went wrong. Action sports star Erik Roner one of the stars of  MTV's "Nitro Circus" died in a freak skydiving accident in Lake Tahoe, California ... this according to the resort where it happened.

The spokesperson says Roner hit a tree on the way down and died from injuries suffered in the accident. Roner is a legend in the action sports community  he's worked with Red Bull and was often featured on Travis Pastrana's "Nitro Circus" show.He was 38. He's survived by his wife and 2 kids.<br />

Former  finance minister, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala,  has announced she 
will be joining US investment bank Lazard’s sovereign advice division.<br />

She has also been appointed chair-elect of the board ofGavi, the Vaccine Alliance, founded by Bill and Melinda Gates.</div>

The new portfolios follow her second stint as 
Nigeria’s finance minister, which ended in May after the Jonathan led 
government  was voted out of office.</div>
 “The two appointments I’m going to undertake embody a continuation of what I’ve tried to do in my career”, she said.<br />

“My work at Gavi will help me continue my work in strengthening 
institutions and building systems” to improve the health of children 
through immunisation, she said. At Lazard, she said, she would advise 
countries on structuring their finances and dealing with debt issues.<br />

Ms Okonjo-Iweala has spent the past three decades working on fiscal 
management and governance systems in Africa through 25 years at the 
World Bank, most recently as a managing director, and twice as finance 
minister in what is now the continent’s biggest economy.<br />

Recall that she was sharply criticised by the press for not speaking 
out more vociferously about the alleged corrupt practices of the 
Goodluck Jonathan administration.<br />

Ms Okonjo-Iweala has argued that her work on transparency and 
anti-corruption as finance minister under both Mr Jonathan and Olusegun 
Obasanjo has been unfairly “brushed aside”.
